The Resilience Wars Series
A series of tightly plotted political espionage thrillers following operative Cole Rylan through the hidden machinery of power, government contracting, and global consequence.
The Resilience Wars • Book One
When power is weaponized, everyone becomes collateral.
Cole Rylan has spent his life fighting America's enemies in the shadows — ghost missions, deniable hits, the kind of work that never makes the news but keeps convoys rolling and cities lit. When a routine mission overseas traces back to a corporate office in Arlington, Cole is ordered home under a new cover. His target isn't a warlord or terror cell — it's Helios Global Security, a defense powerhouse with friends in every corner of Washington. What he uncovers isn't just corruption, but a hidden program quietly probing how far critical systems can be pushed without anyone realizing they're under attack. The Resilience Wars have begun.
The Resilience Wars • Book Two
In a world built to survive any crisis, failure is no longer accidental.
Hidden behind classified contracts and political deniability lies Keystone — a covert decision engine designed to act when humans hesitate. It executes without debate. Power is rerouted. Markets are preserved. Cities are sacrificed. The public will never be told how close the world comes to collapse. When unexplained events begin rippling through global systems, former Special Operations sniper Cole Rylan is pulled into an investigation that cuts far closer to home than expected. What he and his allies find is not just a machine, but a weapon.
The Resilience Wars • Book Three
The fault line runs straight through power.
Keystone was only one piece of the board. With governments under pressure, Congress under threat, and enemies moving behind the language of national security, Cole and his allies must expose the truth before the country is forced into obedience. This time, the fault line runs straight through power.
The Author
Jason Caige is the pen name of a retired senior corporate executive who spent thirty years as a government contractor for one of the largest defense and government services companies in the United States. For roughly fifteen of those years, he traveled the world — from major capitals to what those in the industry call austere environments — working alongside the U.S. military in some of the most strategically significant and dangerous corners of the globe.
That career — built at the intersection of politics, power, and government contracting — forms the backbone of The Resilience Wars series. The people, the systems, the backroom deals and classified handshakes: Caige has seen the machinery up close. The Resilience Wars isn't just fiction — it's the world he lived in, written down.
A lifelong storyteller, Caige spent decades accumulating the material. Now he has the time to write it. When he's not at his desk, you'll find him traveling, on the water along the Chesapeake Bay, or enjoying time with family and friends.
